April 30th, CMS plc announced its appointment by Austin Hughes as a UK Distributor of the InfraPower Enclosure Power Management Solutions.

This range of innovatively and stylishly designed PDUs is ideal for use in mission critical Data Centre applications where power management and monitoring is essential. The Infra Power range comprises three styles of PDU, which can all be vertically or horizontally rack mounted. The MD series is the entry level product enabling real-time power monitoring via an integral LED display. The MT series can be monitored remotely via a simple and secure web based GUI. The MTS series offers the additional functionality of the control of individual outlets. Both the MT and MTS series can be cascaded, connecting up to a maximum of 16 PDU’s via a Category 6 patch cable allowing access control and monitoring over a single IP address via an Ethernet network. These units can also be configured to provide email alerts to network managers allowing them to take swift action, either locally or remotely to prevent power overload.

Anne-Marie Salisbury Marketing Manager for CMS plc said.

“This is a great addition to our product portfolio. Power Management is an increasingly important issue in Data Centres and this product allows network managers a greater level of control.”

Richard Gray, Sales Manager of Austin Hughes Europe stated.

“We are delighted to have CMS plc as a distributor partner. They are a well respected distributor of Data Centre, Networking and Security solutions and this product is an excellent fit. They also offer excellent customer service and delivery options, and we are confident this partnership will make these products available to the widest possible UK customer base”
